Animation/ stop-motion

I decided my idea for a transformation thinking about what I liked. I wanted to use an ice-cream and a jellyfish but then I herad someone was doing that idea so I asked a friend what could I use and she said that I could transform a jellyfish into a dress. My idea changed slightly, also I made a happy face at the ending because I neede more pictures and I wanted to end it with a good feeling. During the process of animation I faed some problems, the lights changed the color of the pictures. They still look good. Another problem was that I finished before taking 200 pictures so I did another figure and played with the background. I didn't like making the stop animation because I thought i was going to be better. Not only that but, I thought I was going to have fun and I didn't. Im not interested in an animation carrer because I dont like art and I think Im not good at it.

From Jellyfish to a Dress

I chose to use plasticine because I think its easier to change forms. I considered using paper and cutting the figure to transform it. But this was going to be very complicated. Equally important if I choose to cut paper my two figures would be different size, and I dont want that to happen. The most challenging thing are the tentacles. I have to make them bigger and then they become part of the dress. My two objects are a jellyfish and a dress. The background will be made of paper. First it would be under the sea, so the color that I chose was blue. Then, it would change to be yellow. Hopefully my project turns to be good.

Stop Motion

Stop Motion is when you take pictures to make a movie. Poeple use them to move things without someone moving and it looks like magic or maybe because it just looks better. To create this project you have to sketch it and know how would it end and how you will start. Then you go step by step and draw how things will change through time. Then you decide how you will represent it and use a camera to take pictures. of the videos that I watched in computers class.

Anotehr video that I watched was this one: click I liked it a lot because is very original. Ypu can also see that they took their time and did a great job. Its really hard to make the video they made. Obviously you know it took a lot of time and they had to be careful.

Kentridge

Kentridge's work was amazing. Its hard to explain because it is really good and you need to choose the right words to make it sound the way it actually is. I think it took a lot of effort and time to make this video. There are a lot of drawings. He only uses a pencil.I was surprised when I saw it because it was really good. My first thought was that he had done a great job.

If I had to explain his work to a person that is blind I would say it has no color, everything is well organized. Not only that but, ´ll also tell the person that you understand whats happening because it has a lor of details. Also, that the video is very fluid and it looks real.

Rainforest Destruction

One of the most serious enviromental problems facing Earth today is the rainforest destruction. Rainforests are very importnat for most living organisms. They provide us oxygen that we need in order to survive. Not only that but, they also feed animals. They give them energy for them to live. They also give animals a home. Rainforsts not only provides us food, they also give us medicines and they protect against flood, drought, and erosion.

People build malls, hotels, etc. In order for that ti happen they destroy the rainforest which is a big impact because the climate can change and make animals die. By destroying this places, the people don't only kill the tres, they kill a lot of animals and people that needed certain medicine.

Some people think its not as bad to destroy this places because they think they can make a new one, but rainforests take 60 to 100 million years to form. While this magnificant place is forming many people would die. Rainforests are the most important anviromental problem because all living organisms would die without enough of them, so people should take care of them and build new places where there are no trees or plants.

This problem is mainly caused by humans. They want to make the world a place to be comfortable and they dont think about the concequences before. They change the ecosystem of a lot of places. Not only that but because of this global warming becomes another important problem and from that other problems that affect all living organisms, so lets change it and stop with the rainforest destruction.

Animation

For my animation, I will recieve the ball form the left side and it will become a disco ball and there will be people dancing, then everything is going to change and Im going to be outside at night. Then the ball is going to be a star and i will grab it again and pass it to the right. The background is going to change once, from the disco with people and lights to outside with the stars.
